The Carl Martin Rock Bug is an Amp/Speaker Simulator and Headphone rehearsal unit that operates on a single 9v battery. Although this type of accessory is not new, we believe there is nothing on the market that feels as real or sounds as realistic as the Rock Bug! You simply get the feeling that you are playing through a good tube amp. Just plug your guitar (with or without pedals) into the unbalanced ¼" input, plug your favourite headphones into the unbalanced ¼" output and off you go! Adjust your instruments’ volume with the Guitar knob, select an open cabinet or closed cabinet simulation with the mini-toggle switch, and wail away through the privacy of your headphones. If you like, use the AUX stereo inputs and add an MP3, CD or DAT player to the mix; adjust the Master volume for your music, blend in your guitar sounds with the Guitar volume, and either play along with your favourite cd’s or add a personal touch to your pre-recorded backing tracks. What is a MIDI Controller?

Simply put, a MIDI controller gives you the power to take command of any hardware device or software that understands MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). This means that MIDI-addressable effects processors (such as delays, reverbs, etc.) and audio recording and editing software can be controlled with a single piece of hardware, a MIDI controller. This can be very handy indeed when you have lots of devices spread out all over your studio or workstation space. The MIDI controller sends a control message to the device or program you're using that turns notes on and off, adjusts the volume or changes any one of many addressable parameters.

When it comes to remote control, the UMA25S offers more real-time options than the competition. You get 8 knobs, 8 buttons, 2 wheels (Pitch Bend Modulation), 2 pedal ports (Expression Sustain) and 1 fader, for a total of 21 assignable controllers - total control of your operating environment. Once you've assigned the parameters for a particular scenario, simply store it in one of the 16 available preset locations.

We've seen it and done it hundreds of times: grabbing the guitar out of the side of a partially unzipped case while standing up. We do this to save space, to save time, or to save our backs. This observation became the driving concept behind the Vertigo, the world's first top-loading guitar case. The top loading feature might have been enough, but we went ahead and redesigned the Headlock for automatic neck support. Then we created The Boot, a rubber sole designed for unsurpassed protection against vertical drops. The Vertigo features a fully redesigned Headlock neck suspension system. No strapping, buckling, or belting required. No extra steps. Just throw your guitar in and the neck finds a natural resting point in the base of the Headlock. Dholak, Nut and Bolt, Dark (Item Code: DHNB-PD) Wooden two-headed drum. This Dholak does not have a handle. The rosewood shell has two heads held in place and tuned by bolts. Held horizontally, both heads are played with the hands (no beaters). In India, these extremely popular percussion instruments are commonly used in folk music and during marriage ceremonies. The shells are manufactured in the northern Indian State of Uttar Pradesh. After transporting to Mumbai the goat skin heads are fitted to the drum shells with nut and bolts for easy tuning. Each drum will vary, approximate measurements:Approximately 17.5 inches long (444.5 mm), base head has a load inside and is 8.5 inches (215.9 mm), tenor head 6.5 inches (165.1 mm)The Load in the bass head is a mixture of tar, clay and sand (dholak masala) which lowers the pitch and provides a well-defined tone.

VCI-300 MIDI Controller

High Resolution Control
The VCI-300 can control more than 90 parameters and functions of the included Serato software with high resolution MIDI signals sent via USB. The pulse resolution of the JOG wheel and pitch control fader is 4 times higher than the VCI-100 and provides precise control of each function. The pitch control fader also shares the same high quality fader parts of the input fader for advanced operability.

Superb Audio
The built-in audio interface carries a Audio Codec IC with crystal-clear sound, generated by a delta-sigma modulation 24 bit stereo D/A-A/D converter. Audio connection includes 1 stereo input, 1 MIC input and 2 stereo output (Master L/R, Monitor L/R).

Level Indication
A 12 level LED L/R indicator is set in the center of the top panel to monitor sound levels.

File Control
Audio files in the software library can be easily selected and controlled with the CRATES / FILES / BROWSE key and the cursor switch inherited from the VCM-100.

Emergency Thru Switch
The Emergency Thru Switch located on the rear panel is a countermeasure where you can use the VCI-300 with the provided ITCH software or without the computer connected if you simply want to play music from your external CD or MP3 player. The ITCH software reads music from your iTunes library or the Serato library you use for Scratch LIVE, making it the perfect device for recreational or professional DJ's.

Adjustable Jog Wheel Torque
The torque of each JOG wheel can be adjusted to prevent them from moving from low frequency feedback and altering the pitch when using the VCI-300 in such places like clubs.

Fader Curve Control
The fader curve of each fader can be adjusted to the preferred characteristics for long mixes, scratching and any other style.
